The overflow from sewer systems as a result of heavy rainfalls causes an enormous ecological hazard to the receiving water if not treated by an adequate system.

The treatment of sewage water in rural areas is often insufficient due to missing central sewer systems. Local treatment systems are an cost saving and ecological alternative.

Bauer Environment Group offers PURE products, based on biological and physical processes. PURE products are an ideal solution for the treatment of sewage water. PURE-Reed Bed Treatment Plants and PURE-Bio Retention Filters are in construction and operation all over Germany. The treatment process is based on simultaneously occurring filtration and biological degradation processes.
