Filtration / Sedimentation
Sedimentation
Solid components of groundwater or water received from construction sites requires the mechanical separation of e.g. sand particles as a pre-treatment stage. A sedimentation step is also required after a flocculation and precipitation stage. BAUER Environment Group has a huge range of plants available for the settlement of solids including applications like inclined tube settlers or lamella sedimentation systems.

Gravel-, Sand- and Multi Media Filtration
Particular matter which cannot be removed by sedimentation is possibly eliminated by filtration processes. BAUER Environment Group offers a broad range of filter vessels and filter materials. Our filters are available as gravel or sand filters or multi media filters. Vessels are available in sizes from 0.8 m³ (spec. GS 400) up to 30 m³ (spec. GS 50000)
