Soil Treatment Centres
 

In case, that biological on-site treatment is not applicable or economically inefficient, the contaminated material is transferred to our specialised soil treatment plants.

There, the biological degradation of the contaminants is enhanced by adding customised amounts of air, water and nutrients depending on the type of present pollutants. Also, the temperature optimum for the microbial activity is guaranteed.

After the treatment, the cleaned material can be re-used.

BAUER Environment Group runs three soil treatment centres in Germany with a total licensed treatment capacity of 240,000 tons per year.
